Sumo Logic Branding

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own the Sumo Logic Brand Design System while supporting all internal and external design requests. On a quarterly basis, I have fulfilled and delivered over 200 design requests for multiple ongoing digital/web team updates. I’ve also effectively managed the internal brand portal, providing daily support to a user base of 1000+ internal stakeholders, ensuring the continuous relevance and accessibility of hundreds of critical brand assets.

Summary

Sumo Logic is the pioneer in continuous intelligence, a new category of software to address the data challenges and opportunities presented by digital transformation, modern applications, and cloud computing. The Sumo Logic Continuous Intelligence Platform™ automates the collection, ingestion, and analysis of application, infrastructure, security, and IoT data to derive actionable insights. More than 2,100 companies rely on Sumo Logic to build, run, and secure their modern applications and cloud infrastructures.

Sumo Logic developed a proprietary, systematic brand that compliments and extends the company story in the continuous intelligence category. As their Brand Designer, I maintained and expanded their brand design system while collaborating across functional departments including Marketing, Product, HR and the Leadership team.

As the brand matured, I’ve documented the brand guideline and the iconography system library that was originally created in Sketch and then later converted to Figma. The Sumo Logic icon library now consist of over 250+ icons which has been distributed across different functions. 

In addition to the iconography system, I also partnered very closely with the Corporate Events Team to ensure our swags and corporate event booths are aesthetically designed to showcase the company’s core message and brand to the market.

Video

As part of the “heads-in-the-clouds” campaign launch, I’ve worked closely with the Product Marketing team and Competitive Analysis team to art direct this award-winning animation video featured from Ceros. As a result, this video produced a 40% increase in customer engagement and drove more visits to the campaign landing page.
